Other Great Resources...

...that I visit often. However, I'm always looking for more sites--I don't know necessarily about every great site that's out there, so, please, if there's a site you think that should be added to this list let me know!

CoasterBuzz - I need my daily dose of amusement-industry-related gossip and news. Coaster Buzz is updated frequently and pulls its information from accurate sources.

Coaster Gallery - An on-line photo gallery that contains 2000 photos of roller coasters from parks around the nation. Also, has information on the various parks and rides shown.

Lone Star Thrills - Primarily a site that focuses on Texas parks...but does have information on other parks around the country--basically wherever the webmaster has visited. There's photos and more.

Negative-G - Frequent photo updates from the webmaster's travels to various amusement and theme parks.

RCDB - The Roller Coaster DataBase has information on over 3700 coasters and 1700 amusement parks worldwide from past to present, including when attractions were opened, closed, moved, scrapped, or dismantled. It’s easy to navigate and search as well. There are even cool extras like links to satellite maps of parks and element and designer cross-reference checks. Each ride entry has facts, histories, pictures (if available), and press release links (if available).

Screamscape - Updated daily, there is an unending plethora of amusement industry news and rumors to be found here, which is generally spot-on accurate (including even with the rumors).

The Flat Joint - What the RCDB is to roller coasters this site is to flat rides. Well, sort of; it doesn't give you locations of rides as such. It is more about the various carnival rides you may come across at fairs and other such events. Gives statistics, pictures and more.

Theme Park Brochures - Has scans of brochures and maps from different parks. The collection here ranges from the early 1950s through today.

Theme Park Review - An excellent community site with active forums full of enthusiastic enthusiasts and, my favorite part, plenty of videos of roller coasters! On ride footage included. The site tracks the many visits its members take each year to parks around the country and world.

Westcoaster - Frequently updated with awesome photo updates from various parks on the west coast--where else?
